How Livio Bisterzo And Green Park Brands Gives Back To Eastern African Farmers

Livio Bisterzo is a businessman in Los Angeles who originally came from Italy. He studied at the University of Arts London and in 2002 he graduated with a degree in business and management in fashion. He has founded a number of companies including his latest one, Green Park Brands Inc. This is a company that has a two-fold mission of providing healthy snacks while at the same time doing good in the world.

It was in 2016 when Livio Bisterzo launched his first brand under Green Park Brands, Hippeas. These are an organic chickpea puff which are healthy in a number of ways. Each serving has 3 grams of fiber as well as 4 grams of protein making it filling and healthy. They are also low-calorie, organic, and gluten-free. Additionally, they serve other dietary requirements because they are non-GMO, kosher, and vegan.

Livio Bisterzo has come up with six flavor varieties for Hippeas so far. Among these are Pepper Power, Vegan White Cheddar, and Sriracha Sunshine. He is targeting this product towards millennials who he says are searching for healthier snacks with great flavor profiles.

Farmer Africa is the nonprofit that Livio Bisterzo and Green Park Brands has partnered with to fulfill the second half of the companies agenda. For each packet of Hippeas sold a portion of the sale will go towards supporting an eastern African farmer. This region is very poor so the money will go towards helping lift these farmers and their families out of poverty.

Hippeas are now being sold in grocery stores across the United States as well as in the UK. Livio Bisterzo has further plans for additional brands being offered through Green Park Brands in the future. Bisterzo’s intention is to create a broad range of brands that are healthy and socially conscious.

Kenya has done so well in the industry in supplying us with many stocks so I think it will be nice to just give them some aids. However not that well with essaylab.org having a different view and I think it is founded on some logical thoughts. Basically the access to foreign markets will be seen as very powerful and will lead to progress for these local farmers.
